About

British Guardianship, part of the Study First Group network

Study First Group was founded in 1999 and has spent more than twenty-five years placing international students into UK universities, UK colleges, English language schools and summer junior schools. The Study First Group has built direct partnerships with top UK universities, representing more than 50 leading higher education institutions to students from around the world.

As the group's work with younger students grew, so did a clear requirement: UK boarding schools require every overseas pupil to have a UK-based educational guardian. In 2010, Study First Group established British Guardianship as its dedicated guardianship division to meet that requirement to the highest professional standard. British Guardianship now stands among the leading guardianship companies in the UK, the choice of families worldwide who expect the best for their children.

About British Guardianship

British Guardianship has years of experience in the international education industry and understands the needs and concerns of students and their parents at every level of their study. If you are sending your son or daughter to a UK boarding school, UK college or UK university, then you will be asked by the school or educational institution to provide the name of a UK based nominated guardian who will be responsible for your child whilst they are studying in the UK.

Our professionally trained staff and expert educational guardians are here for students and their parents at every step, ready to explain every detail of our services and answer any question with clarity and care. Your son or daughter has access to their educational guardian 24/7, with dedicated support in everything that helps them get the very best out of their stay in a UK boarding school, college or university.
