UK University Placement

A bachelor's degree, such as a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Medicine (MB), gives students a thorough understanding of their chosen subject and develops the analytical, research and writing skills valued by employers worldwide. Most degrees take three years to complete full-time in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and four years in Scotland, while sandwich courses add a year in industry or abroad, and courses such as medicine take longer.

Many international students begin university at 17, straight after A-Levels, the IB Diploma or a university foundation year. We help families choose the course and university that match their child's qualifications, interests and career goals, taking into account entry requirements, course rankings and university location. We place students at selected UK universities where we hold a direct partnership, and support the complete application, from personal statement to offer. Students who do not yet meet direct entry requirements can start with our pre-university placement programmes.

UK University Admissions

Admission starts with our initial application form below. Once we receive it, our placement team reviews your child's qualifications, English level and preferred subjects, recommends a shortlist of suitable courses and universities, and manages the UCAS application through to offer and enrolment. Previous qualifications earn points on the UCAS Tariff, and each course sets its own entry requirements, so we help you target the universities where your child's application is strongest.

You can begin the process as early as a year in advance, and we recommend it: the full application usually takes two to five months, and after an offer your child will still need time to arrange their visa and accommodation. For September entry, the main UCAS deadline falls in January, with earlier October deadlines for Oxford, Cambridge and most medicine courses. Many universities continue to accept international applications later in the year, and some offer January starts, so if a deadline has passed, contact us and we will confirm the options still open. Do I Need UK University Guardianship?

Yes, if your child starts university before turning 18. UK universities ask students under 18 for the details of an appointed UK guardian, who acts as the university's local point of contact, responds in emergencies and supports your child with practical matters as they settle into university life.
