Who is it for?

The Student Visa is for students aged 16 or over who plan to study a course in the UK with a licensed student sponsor. Applicants can apply for this visa if:

• they have been offered a place on a course by a licensed student sponsor, confirmed by a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)
• they have enough money to support themselves and pay for their course, proof of financial competence will be required
• they can speak, read, write and understand English to the required level
• they have consent from their parents or legal guardian if they are 16 or 17 years old
