New Academic Year: A Warm Welcome to Our Students and Parents

The start of a new academic year is always a special moment. Suitcases are packed, uniforms are ready, and students from all over the world are arriving at boarding schools across the UK. To every one of our students, new and returning, welcome. We are delighted to have you with us.

To Our New Students

Arriving in a new country to begin school is a big step, and it is completely normal to feel excited and a little nervous at the same time. Please remember that you are not on your own. Your guardianship team is here for you throughout the year, whether you need help with travel, somewhere to stay during an exeat weekend, or simply someone to talk to. The first few weeks pass quickly, and before long the UK will start to feel like a second home.

To Our Returning Students

Welcome back. We hope you had a wonderful summer with your families and that you return refreshed and ready for the year ahead. Many of you have exams, university applications and new responsibilities on the horizon, and we look forward to supporting you through every one of them.

To Our Parents

We know how much trust you place in us when your child studies so far from home. Please be assured that this trust is something we take seriously every single day. As an AEGIS accredited guardianship organisation, we maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and welfare, and our team is available around the clock should your child ever need us. Throughout the year we will keep in close contact with you and with your child's school, so that you always know your child is safe, settled and supported.

Looking Ahead

The academic year brings plenty to plan for, from October half-term and exeat weekends to the Christmas holidays. We will publish guidance on all of these here on the blog, and our team will be in touch with families ahead of each break.
