As an AEGIS accredited guardianship organisation supporting international students at UK boarding schools since 2010, we speak with parents, students and schools every day. Many of the same questions come up again and again, and this blog is where we will answer them.

Who This Blog Is For

We have created this space for two audiences. For parents, it is a source of clear, reliable information about how guardianship works in the UK, what your responsibilities are, and how to plan ahead with confidence from thousands of miles away. For students, it is a practical guide to life at a UK boarding school, from settling in during the first term to making the most of holidays, exeats and everything in between.
